Pastor Howard L. Wynn

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord:

I was born in Willard, Ohio and I grew up in the home of my grandparents. My mother and I lived with them in Plymouth, Ohio. My mother and father were separated and divorced when I was very young.

I graduated from Plymouth High School in 1965. It was in 1966 that I heard the Gospel for the first time. The grace of God opened my eyes and spiritual understanding to the fact that I was a sinner and needed a Savior in 1966.

I was married January 1, 1967 to Virginia Fike. She had introduced me to Christ before we were married. I became a member of First Baptist Church in Shelby, Ohio.

Almost one year after being married, the Lord called me into full time service. I graduated from Practical Bible Training School in 1971. I then became the Pastor of First Baptist Church in Fort Plain, NY. We were there just over three years when the Lord led us to Raleigh, NC to work at Neuse Baptist Church pastored by H. W. Carey. We worked there for just over five years. It was there that the Lord called us to come to the Philippines as missionaries.

We were approved to be missionaries in 1978 and arrived in Tacloban in 1980. This is where we have been since then.

God has blessed us in this place with a church full of people that know how to live and give by faith.

While here in the Philippines, I have earned a B.A. and M.A. degrees in Education.

We have seen thousands of people here and around the world touched with the Gospel in the last thirty years. Just in the past three years, five of our Bible College graduates have started churches where in the past there was no Gospel. To God be the glory great things He has done.

We would love to answer any questions you might have about the work here and around the world. God bless!
